Westcoasttrip Part 4 - Shark Bay - Perth

Free camp area "Cliff Head Nort - Indian ocean drive".

Charles, the guy on the left was our travel mate for 3 days. Its common in Australia to buy a caravan and travel around for a couple of yeas when you are retired. Yuika always said "your new best friend"

Decorating our car.

No snow in Australia but heabs of sand...
Great duns and a lot of fun on our camp spot "Sandy Cape" near Jurian Bay

Stockyard Gully National Park. Some dark caves there. Not so special if you grown up near the alps.

The Pinnacles (Nambung Nat Park)
Extraordinary ancient rock formations

On the way to Perth
Just a normal "truck" in Australia. Sometimes they have even more trailers.

Charlie after almost 7000 km in round about 6 weeks from Darwin to Perth :)

Was a great time. Big adventures, a lot of fun, nice meetings and sometimes also a bit worry and trouble.
We made it!!!

Westcoasttrip Part 3 - Broom to Shark Bay

Eighty Mile Beach. An endless beach...
Best at nighttime. I never saw so many stars before. Stars can be so bright! Thats happened if there is no civilization in a radius of 300 km.

As an exception I let Yuika drive Charlie...

We are coming more and more south, the nights getting colder...

Diabolo in Karratha on the beach. The place were we staid this night.

<- Spiders falling from the sky | An echidna is not just a big hedgehog! ->

Exmouth - The place were we spend almost 1k dollars each....
1. a ranger cached us and we had to pay a fine of 100 dollars for illegal camping.....
2. Charlie was sick (leaking power steering and leaking automatic transmission). The bill for the doctor was over 1k $. Why does he broke down in a small town in the middle of nowhere???
3. Finally we did a amazing trip to see whale sharks. 350 $ each. Was a stunning experience. We snorkeled next to a 9m long whale shark. I felt so small. We also saw heaps of humpback whales.

Carnarvon

Coral Bay
Snorkeling and explore the coral reef next to the beach.

Shark Bay
We didn't see sharks its just the name.

Monkey Mia (shark bay)
No sharks but wild dolphins. Swimming and playing on the beach.

Shells Beach - A beach made of shells.
