Westcoasttrip Part 2 - Kanunara to Broom

We don't need a 4WD, we have Charlie!!!

Was a hot sunny day like the most of the days. Perfect to go for on the bottom of this beautiful fall. Our swim had a quick end after we spotted a white water snake.




Hitchhiking to the "Bungle Bungles (world heritage)"
50 km (2h) dirt road and off road driving, a few river to cross, muddy and sandy parts. No way to do this with Charlie. So we decided to give hitchhiking a try. It work well. After less than 1 hour we got a lift.




Arrived in Broom with a pretty dusty car.
Someone tried to tell us that we cant sleep here tonight.

Westcoasttrip Part 1 - Darwin to Kanunara

WWOOFing in Darwin (work a bit for free accommodation and free food).
Was perfect to organize some stuff for our west coast trip after i arrived in Darwin.

We didn't find a Lift down the west coast. Hire a car for 2 month is to expensive.
So we just decided to buy one.
Here it is! Our new car called "Charlie".
Ford Falcon Station Wagon, 4l 6V Engine, 200k km. Dunno why Australians need such a big engine for a car like this. But lot of fun to drive.


Kakadu National Park
Swimming at the to of Gunlom Falls. Amazing view!!
